Why is everybody that quiet...

Emptiness on the blogs I regularly read, I met fewer and fewer people in the past days and weeks....
Or do I simply not recognize them all?
Blindness?
Deafness?

Yesterday was a bit upsetting on the one hand, but on the other one quite cool, since the rescue helicopter landed right beside my house on the meadow. (My neighbour had a fit), I never recognized that it is that loud when it comes down. (Through my volunteer work at the Red Cross, this helicopter landed a few metres beside me once, during a sortie)
