Into theatre again...

Okay, I've just come home from the Landestheater in Linz. I've been there with my class and it was okay; not good, not bad, just okay. We saw "Candide: Or, Optimism" by Voltaire.
The main plot: A young man learns that he lives in the perfect world. But soon his mind changes as he gets to know wars, earth quakes and other natural disasters, cabals and conspiracies all over the world. During the whole play he meets characters again, which he believed are death. Once he meets his only love again, which marries an american warlord and ends up as waiting staff in Monaco. In the end he concludes that the whole world he is living in, is everything but optimistic.
All in all we got some good seats in the balcony, so we had a good place of view and the songs have also been super.
